Hand Stamped Sentiments – colors

Hello Stampers!

I hope you are able to enjoy this gorgeous weather.  It has been the perfect temperature and the sun has been shining brightly.  This is the perfect weather and not looking forward to it getting hot and humid.  We are watching the weather as there is a big storm coming from the south and depending on the track would could get a few days of rain.

Today is the challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  This week we have a color challenge.

Don’t you just love these colors together?  They are so much fun.  I was not sure how to work in the Night of Navy so I decided to make it the card base.  I also had a vision in my head of the lines from Gorgeous Grunge in the upper left corner with flowers scattered around the card.  I made my card and then it needed a sentiment to me so I added one in the upper right corner.  I wanted to use some of the Strawberry Slush thick baker’s twine but it was too thick so I unraveled it and used just a few threads.  Here is what my finished card looked like.

This was my first time playing with the flowers in this set.  They are a lot of fun so I need to play with them some more.  Make sure you check out the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog to see what the other ladies created with these colors.  We would love to see what you would create using these colors.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have a lot to do today but Jess is taking Lily her dog to have surgery.  She is very upset and nervous about it so not sure how much I will get done.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!
