Hand Stamped Sentiments – Happy Hello

Good Morning Stampers!

I hope you found some time yesterday to be creative!  I had to squeeze my time in between my chiropractor and my acupuncture appointments.  My back is getting better every day so I am hoping it will be good by the time I head to North Carolina in a  few weeks.

We have a sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments blog this time.

We had a discussion in a swap forum I am in about different ways to use the Floral Frames Framelits.  I decided to use it for my large circle image in the background.  I recently got the Tin of Cards stamp set.  It had the perfect sentiment for my card.  For the 3 images I decided to do some watercoloring for my coloring today.  Here is what the final creation looked like.

So I am still working on the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  Today is Day 16 so we are halfway through.

Today I thought I would do some watercoloring again.  I took a piece of watercolor paper and spritzed it with water.  I then used a paint brush to tap the wet paper.  When I had my ink randomly placed on the piece of watercolor paper, I spritzed it again with water.  When it was dry, here is what I had.

I then used this paper to punch out my butterflies for my card.

We hope you will check out the other creations by the design team at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  We would love to have you play along with us.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have a customer coming to do a make up class this afternoon.  I will also be working on some upcoming classes.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Robbie
