I have been watching a lot of You Tube videos lately to get some ideas for mini scrapbooks. One lady I watch quite a bit uses lots of flowers on her albums. One of the ideas she suggested is to use silk flower sprays you can buy. I decided to try that on this card.
Our challenge this week is to use the Spring photo for inspiration.
I loved this picture and it makes me think of all the beautiful flowers you see in the spring. One of the first flowers you see, and one of my favorites, is the pansy! I had picked up some pansy silk flower sprays the other day and I thought it would be fun to use them.
I found a great sketch at The Stamp-a-holics.
Now all I need to do is create my card. I had to find 3 papers to use as I was not going to create my own. I used my pansies to determine my colors. I wanted to use the yellow, the purple, and the razzleberry. I turned to my designer series paper pack – this is a great deal as you get 4 sheets of each color in the color family – and found my paper. Here is what my final creation looks like.

So, what do you think of my pansy card? I love it! I can’t wait to send it to a special friend! Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
