Hand Stamped Sentiments – pocket fold

Good Morning Everyone!

I did not get as much done as I had wanted to yesterday.  I do not have all my supplies organized yet so I cannot find all my items.  I went looking for a stamp set and could not find it.  I checked several places but it did not turn up.  I will look a little more today to see if I can locate it.  Wish me luck!

Today is the color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I chose the colors for this challenge.

I thought it would be fun to play with black and white and a color to see what the other ladies would come up with.  I saw a card that was actually a criss cross card.  When I saw it I thought it would be interesting to see if I could make a pocket card using the idea. 

I began with the Back to Black ds paper.  I played with it on white and black but decided I liked it with the black.  I then added some flowers using the Melon Mambo.  I played around with the design and here is what I came up with.

I decided to leave the pocket card inside of the card so you could see how it works.  I love this design and will be using it in future cards.
