Handmade Birthday Card Design

Hello Everyone ~ a fun Handmade Birthday Card Design is the creation I have for you today.

Well the movers came yesterday.  This was just the stuff I had in the apartment which was basically my kitchen items and craft room items.  I managed to unpack several boxes after they left and also did a couple of loads of dishes so I can get the kitchen put together.  I had hoped to have my washer and dryer hooked up but the washer drain was never cut out and my dryer vent is too large for the dryer vent to the outside.  I am hoping someone comes and fixes the washer drain today and I will have to see what I can do for the dryer vent.  I did get my bed and recliner set up so I could relax and get a good night sleep.  Today I will be working on my craft room, my bedroom (not much to do there so won’t take me long), and the kitchen.  I will work a few hours in each room so that I can get at least one room completed.  Wish me luck!

Today I have a Handmade Birthday Card Design to share with you.  This is a clean and simple card and a great idea for a guy or a teenager.  I used a piece of Night of Navy card stock and embossed it with the Sparkle embossing folder.  This panel was added to a Whisper White card base using Tear & Tape.  The Twinkle Twinkle designer series paper was the next layer and it was mounted onto a piece of Whisper White.  This layer was added to the card base using dimensionals.  For my sentiment I used the Tabs for Everything stamp set and stamped each work in the upper right hand area of the card stock using Night of Navy ink.  This layer was added to a Night of Navy card stock layer and then added to the card front using dimensionals.  The cake uses the same stamp set and was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink then the fill in stamps in the set were used with Mint Macaron.  The cake image was punched out using the 1″ circle punch.  A 1 1/4″ circle punch was used with Mint Macaron card stock to create the layer.  The 2 circles were attached and then added to the card front using dimensionals.  To finish off the card a knot of the Silver Metallic Edged ribbon was tied and added using glue dots.  Here is the completed Handmade Birthday Card Design creation.
