Handmade Masculine Cards
Happy Monday Everyone – I have a new series starting today with my Handmade Masculine Cards.
Today I am starting a new series for all of you looking for masculine card ideas. Every Monday I will post a masculine card for various occasions. While they may be for a specific occasion, you can easily adapt them to suit your needs by changing the sentiment.
This week I am focusing on the Sale-a-bration Beautifully Penned pattern paper. You can earn this paper for free with a $50 order. This is a black and white paper that had beautiful patterns to it. It coordinates with the Hand Penned Petals bundle. Now I know what you are saying, how can you use this paper for a guy with all the flowers. I thought the same things when I looked at it but there is a leaf pattern that makes a great masculine card.
The coordinating dies in the bundle have a leaf spray that looks very nice with the pattern paper. I wanted to add an embossed background and the brick wall made me think of a vine climbing the wall. The leaf paper fit that idea perfectly. I paired it with a dark green which also carries that leaf theme through the entire card.
When I looked at my card elements it was missing something. I thought maybe some gold accents would work. I love how the gold steps this the perfect thank you idea for handmade masculine cards. Here is my creation.
