Handmade Snowflake Christmas Card
Hello Everyone – I used an unusual color for the handmade snowflake Christmas card idea.
I had a hard time getting started yesterday. It took me forever to go up to my studio and then I had limited time as I was playing cards with a neighbor. Do you have days like that? It seems like I struggle to get motivated but when I do I then don’t want to quit to go to an appointment or to do some grocery shopping. What do you do to get yourself working on projects faster? Let me know.
My focus this week is the Peaceful Prints pattern paper.
I love the patterns in this paper and how they can be used with other stamp sets besides the Peaceful Deer bundle. The best part about this paper is that it is free with a $50 order. Love getting free supplies.
I looked at the paper and wondered what stamp sets I had I could use with it besides the deer one. I spotted the snowflake and knew I could use it with the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and So Many Snowflakes dies. Since the paper has no sparkle and snowflakes sparkle I decided to use some products to add sparkle.
The pattern paper was added to some Be Dazzling specialty paper. I also use some of the Metallic Mesh ribbon to tie a knot across the top. I cut out one of the snowflakes and used the Wink of Stella pen to spread sparkle all over. After I stamped the sentiment I went over the work “Sparkle” with the Wink of Stella pen also. Little bits of sparkle helps the green paper to shine during the holiday season. Here is the handmade snowflake Christmas card idea.
If you like snowflake cards, check out this idea that uses some glitter paper for lots of sparkle. Today’s card uses green for the snowflakes but check out these purple snowflakes.
