Editted to add: Blogger is having problems with scheduled posts. I am checking and often my post has to be posted later than I normally do. Sorry and hopefully they will get it fixed soon!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Can you believe we are more than halfway through the year. Where has the year gone?
Today’s card uses another nonflower image. This one is from Whipper Snapper. I just love the cute little mouse next to the flower pot. I used the watercolor technique to color my image. Do you see the sentiment circle? That was a mistake discovery. I has cut all my circles and was working with the layering when the white circle shifted to the right. I liked the look and decided to line all the circle up on the right rather than in the middle of each other.
I wanted something different for the image layers so I pulled out a border punch and cut each layer a little longer than the one below it. I used a clear gelly roll pen to add lots of sparkle to the image and I also traced around the circles to put a little glitz there also. As I was deciding how to put the card together, it still needed something. I search through my stash and ran across some pins I have had for a while and never used. I added the pin and tied some ribbon to it. Here is my creation.
