Good Morning Everyone ~ wait until you see my Happy Birthday to You Note creation today.
I managed to get quite a bit of play time yesterday. I had wanted to vacuum my house but my stick vac was acting up. I called the company and found out I need to clean the filter. I did that and have to let it dry so we will see if that makes a difference. I hope it does but if not I am certain I will get a replacement as it has not been that long since I got it. I tried several new techniques I saw on You Tube and was excited about the outcome. I still need to work on one so I will get the supplies they used and then try it again. Today I am going to finish vacuuming and pick up as I have game day at my house tomorrow. There is a group of 6 of us who get together every 2 weeks to play card and board games. It is my turn to host so I have to find a game to play. We only play a couple of hours but it is fun.
We have a sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments this time.
When I saw this I thought the flowers from the Sale-a-bration stamp set would be perfect for the circles. In order to get mine to work, I rotated it 180 degrees so the larger circle was on the left. The stamp set has dies to match the stamp set so I stamped it and then colored it and used the die to cut out the flowers. I found a fun pattern of designer series paper in the Best Dressed dsp. I cut a simple strip of designer series paper and attached it to the card front. The flowers were then added using dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment using Lovely Lipstick ink and then used the retired Banner punch to flag my end. It was also added using dimensionals. Here is my Happy Birthday to You Note creation.

Would you like some other note card ideas? Here is another simple one that uses some ovals for the focal image. This card uses the same sentiment but I inked up part of it and stamped it then did the other part of the stamp underneath. This one uses the ovals as the focal image on the card front.
