Hello Everyone ~ I have an inspired Hearts Come Home Card today.
I am feeling so good as I have worked ahead on my cards and posts. I am hoping to keep this up as December can be so busy and if I can keep ahead I will be able to enjoy it with the girls. This will be the last Christmas they are here as they will be moving into their new house after Christmas. They are excited and it will be good for them.
Today is an inspiration challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments
When I looked at the picture, I immediately saw the houses. I decided to use the Hearts come Home set to create a card. I stamped my houses onto a piece of Soft Sky card stock using Night of Navy ink. I pulled out my sponge brayer and using the Dapper Denim ink, I sponged the color on starting at the top and working my way down the card stock I added ink for a night sky. After I was happy with that color, I used the Night of Navy ink for just the very top of the card stock. I pulled the Santa stamp from the set and stamped him in the sky using Night of Navy. My panel was ready to be mounted so I used some Dapper Denim card stock. The card base was Whisper White and I added a strip of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper to the bottom. The colored panel was added using dimensionals. To make my sentiment, I stamped it using Versamark then embossed it with silver embossing powder. I punched the sentiment out with a 2″ circle punch. This was then added to the upper right hand corner of the image panel with dimensionals. Here is my completed Hearst Come Home Card.
