Hey Chuck with Bright and Beautiful dsp
Hello Everyone – I loved the chickens we had a few years ago and knew I had to get the new set so check out my Hey Chuck with Bright and Beautiful dsp card today.
Vicky and I are focusing on some of the pattern paper/dsp that is on sale this month. This week we chose to use the Bright and Beautiful paper.
How many of you remember that chick with the crazy hair from the Hey Chick stamp set? I loved playing with that chick and when I saw the new set I loved the fact that all the chickens had crazy hair so I had to order it. For today’s creation I used one of those fun chickens and colored the feathers based on the colors of the pattern paper/dsp I used. The bright bold colors are perfect for creating some colorful chickens like the one for today. I began with sketch 4 from Kendra’s card challenge for the layout making it easy to create since the decision was made.
The Hey Chuck stamp set is easy to miss in the catalog. If you loved the Hey Chick stamp set from a few years ago, check out this one to see if you need to add it to your collection. Can’t you see creating with both of these sets!
I had so much fun making the video for today’s card. Here it is so you can see how I colored this crazy chicken.
Look at those feathers! I love using fun colors in my crafting. Creative liberty allows you to play with color and come up with some great combinations like the one used for the chicken on this card.
