How About A Cute Handmade Valentine Card

Hello Everyone ~ how about a cute handmade Valentine card idea today?

Well I met the builder at the house yesterday to talk about the showers.  We also talked about the window that needs to be replaced and the fireplace.  I had to go to the Bath store and Fireplace showroom to make some decisions.  The Bath store went fine.  The Fireplace was not a good visit.  I have an unvented fireplace so I do not have glass doors.  The only way I can get glass doors is to remove the fireplace that is there and put in the only one they have that is unvented with doors.  I had the mesh curtains that are on the fireplace not to mention the dust and dirt the fireplace will collect without doors on the front.  I am not sure which way to go.  I looked at fireplace screens but that is not the look I was going for.  I have gone over the budget on so many areas and I still have no idea how much I am going to owe for the recessed lights I have put in.  Having a hard time with this decision.  Today I have a class in the morning and afternoon in the subdivison. I am using the Pavilion until my house gets finished.  It will be a fun day as I share my love for papercrafting with some new ladies.

Today is my turn to share another Valentine.  This is day 8 so if you have not seen the other cards we have created, check out my previous posts. For today’s card I began with a Flirty Flamingo card base.  I used the Detailed Trip punch to round the corners of the card base.  I cut a Basic Black layer and rounded the corners on the right hand side.  I then cut a Whisper White layer and rounded the corners of it also.  Using the heart from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits, cut out a heart from the lower right hand corner of the Whisper White layer.  Add a piece of the All My Best designer series paper to the back of the Whisper White layer to cover the hole.  Attach your Whisper White layer to the Basic Black layer.  Add a strip of the same designer series paper to the left hand edge of the Whisper White layer.  Tie some Whisper White baker’s twin down the same side and tie a bow at the top.  Attach these layers to the card base.  Using the Sunshine Wishes thinlits and some Flirty Flamingo card stock, cut out a heart.  Add Glue to the back of the cut out and inlay it into the opening on the Whisper White layer.  Take the stamp from the Accented Blooms stamp set and using your Flirty Flamingo marker, ink up just the words you want to use.  Stamp it onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock.  Use the Classic Label punch to punch it out.  Add this punch to a scrap of Flirty Flamingo card stock.  Use your snips to trim around it to get a larger shape like the one the sentiment is on.  Add this sentiment to your card base using dimensionals.  So what do you think about the completed How About a Cute Handmade Valentine Card creation?
