How to make a fun birthday card

Hello everyone – if you need a generic birthday idea then see How to make a fun birthday card.

There are so many products you can combine to make this card. The cloud with rain (I think it is rain and not just diagonal lines lol) reminded me of the splatter embossing folder which would make a fun background. I used a scrap I had for the card front and to make it a focal image I used a layer of Shaded Spruce.

While I was cutting it I remembered the cloud looking die from the Basic Borders dies and pulled it out to add the bottom to the layer. Tip – to get the spacing correct, cut the panel longer than you need, die cut the bottom, add your dsp, then cut the top off with a slight border.

To me any day is a good day for cake so I used that fun sentiment to add to the card. Check out how the card turned out.
