How to store ribbon
Hello Everyone – would you like some ideas for How to store ribbon?
I love ribbon and because of that I have a lot! But my love of ribbon also presents a big problem – how to store all that I have.
There are many ways to store your ribbon and you need to find the method that works for you. You can store it by types of ribbon – I shared an article on this topic a few days ago -, colors, or in my case I store it by what is current and what is retired.
If you have limited space you need to keep that in mind. Some ideas for limited space are a multiple pants hanger, a plastic bin, or even a home made picture frame with dowels – how many old pictures do you have you could paint the frame and repurpose it!

Now I know you are wondering what I do to store my stash. For my current ribbon I use a simple plastic shoe box and keep it on the corner of my workspace.

For my collection – yes it is a collection as I have a ton! – I use a collapsible bin.

An for overflow I have a small drawer in my Ikea cabinet I have some in. The drawer was my first attempt to be more organized but I quickly outgrew it!

As you can see there are a variety of ways to store your ribbon whether you have a few spools or a bunch of spools.
