I need you opinion

I have participated in Amy’s sketch challenges a couple of times.  She is looking for new members of her design team if you are interested.  The details are here.  Here current design team has a color challenge challenge going on right now.   When I saw the colors I thought of the wedding card I made a few weeks ago.  I had entered a blog give away on  Stacey King’s blog and won.  She sent me some cute gift tags that had this flower on it.  I thought it would make a cute flower for this card.

Once I decided to use the flower, the rest of the card just came together fairly easy.  Once I got the flowers put together and laid out on the card the card just seemed to say Christmas.  I then went with the Christmas theme for the embellishments on the card.

Now I need your help (Sandy, I’m talking to you as you always tell me your opinion) :).  I had the card all made and the ribbon in the top corner (yes, I am still on my angle theme) seemed to need something.  I tried tying a bow but didn’t like the look of it.  I then put a folded ribbon together and laid it on the card.  Not sure if I like it.  What do you think?  Which card to you like, the first one with no ribbon or the second one with the folded ribbon?

Stamps: Cute Converse (retired) Paper: Bravo Burgundy, Old Olive, Sahara Sand, white, vellum Ink: Bravo Burgundy Accessories: Bravo Burgundy – Old Olive – Sahara Sand markers, ribbon (Pink Hedgehog), tag punch (Sizlets), gold braid, Bravo Burgundy & Marigold Morning brads, 5 petal flower punch, stylus, sponge, sticky tape, dimensionals
I really like this card and I may make some more for my Christmas cards this year.  Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

  1. Hey Robbie, I would like to see the gold ribbon across the top, under the flowers at the top – horizontal, not angles, and with the bow….

  2. I like the folded ribbon. How would it look if you tied the ribbon and left some of it hanging down into the flowers, kinda behind them just a little? Loved the card. It so elegant looking. Great colors. Just got back from NYC so hadn’t seen this until today. Sandy
