I have had this idea since I got this set and I finally got a chance to play and work it out. I am not sure if I saw this on another blog or was something I just wanted to try.
I have been having fun with the Fifth Avenue Floral set and doing some layering of cards. I decided to give it a try on the rose since I had not done it with that stamp. My favorite colored rose is the one that is yellow with coral tipped petals. I decided to try my had at creating this look. While I think the tips need a little more red I like how it turned out. What do you think? Here is my creation. Sorry about the color o the picture but it was rainy when I took it and I used my Ott Light and it still turned out off a little even with using my photo editing program.
inside of card
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Best Blossoms (retired) Paper: Cameo Coral, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi PP (Prints Pack) Ink: Cameo Coral, Wild Wasabi, Palette Noir Black Accessories: ribbon (Pink Hedgehog), sponge dauber, sticky tape, dimensionals
So what do you think of my layering? This was a challenge since the stamp is rather intricate. I like how it turned out by may try it again with more layers. Thanks for looking and I hope you have a great Monday!
