In honor of my mother!

In honor of my mother!

Hello everyone – today’s cards are In honor of my mother!

My mother collected ceramic chickens. She had them all over her house. When she passed I got several of them that I now display in my house. When I saw this stamp set and pattern paper I immediately thought of her and had to get both of them.

Today’s Project

The Unity Stamp Company had a recent release. I am not one to purchase things in a release but 2 items caught my eye and brought back memories of my mom.

In honor of my mother!

The images in the Impeckable Silhouettes look like the ones my mother has and now I have a few. Since they were silhouettes I stamped them in black. I will be trying them in other colors just to see what hey look like.

I love the gingham in this paper and the variety of colors used for the same basic pattern paper. I can’t wait to play with them with the retired chicken sets I have. These cards were inspired by ones I saw on Facebook and the Unity site.
