Happy Friday Everyone ~ I used a new set from the Occasions Catalog today for my Incredible Like You from Stampin’ Up creation.
I was on the run yesterday. I finished up a card for a special order, met the lady who placed the order to finalize the cards, went to the development office to pay my HOA fees, went to the recycling center, and then met with the builder to verify the siding colors. After that I spent the afternoon working on a tutorial for an upcoming newsletter series Costa and I are going to do. This will be 12 weeks long and focus on Sale-a-bration items. Today I should have had a video for you. Again my camera did not record the video so I don’t have one. Here is the description of what I did so you know. I began with a Whisper White card base. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″. Using the Detailed Trio punch I rounded the corners. This was attached to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut another pieces of Whisper White and this one measured 3 3/4″ x 5″. For this one I used the flower on the Detailed Trio punch on each corner. I then used the corner rounder on the punch to round the corners. I used Whisper White to create a layer that was 1 3/4″ x 3″ and used the punch to round the corners. The final layer was cut to 1 1/2″ x 2 3/4″. I took the sentiment from the Incredible Like You and stamped it in Melon Mambo onto the smallest piece of Whisper White. The corners of this layer were rounded also. Using Whisper White scraps I used the Animal Friends thinlits to cut out 3 of the branches. I took the 2 small panels and added the sentiment layer to the other layer using dimensionals. I used these layers to determine the placement of my stamps and white branches on the punched 3 3/4″ x 5″ layer. I used the branch in the Incredible Like You stamp set and Granny Apple Green to stamp the branch on each side of the sentiment layer. I then added the Whisper White branches on the left hand side underneath where the sentiment layers will be. The sentiment layers were then added over the stamped branches and Whisper White branches. This layer was then added to the card base using dimensionals. To finish off my card I added some bling using rhinestones. Here is the completed Incredible Like You from Stampin’ Up.
