Ink blending for Fall leaves
Hello everyone – are you ready to see some Ink blending for Fall leaves ideas?
In a recent Live I showed how you can ink blend colors then die cut to get pretty Fall leaves. I used the retired Gorgeous Leaves stamp set as I have always loved this set. I chose to use Crushed Curry, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie as my inks and blend them on a panel of Very Vanilla. I could have also use Cherry Cobbler but did not think of it until I had all my leaves cut out. Once the ink is blended you cut out your leaves. I also used the lacy leaf die and some retired Distressed Gold paper for that one. Here is my card.
About my card
Very Vanilla – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
4″ x 5 1/4″ – used for the large postage die
4″ x 5 1/4″ – used to blend colors for the leaf dies
2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″
Distressed gold – scrap for die cutting
Here is another idea for ink blending for these leaves. Love the fun color that was used. This idea uses the stamp and adding color using a sponge dauber to get the colorful leaves.
