Hello everyone – I have a fun idea to share with you today with the Ink Cube thumping with a die cut card.

This month I am playing with ink cube thumping. This is a great technique to use for Fall leaves.

Today’s Project

I pulled out a long retired leaf die set to cut out the maple leaf. I wanted the leaf to have a lot of texture so I sprayed it with water and then crumpled it. The paper is very fragile so you have to be very careful when you unfold it and let it dry. Once it is dry use an ink cube to add some color. I used 2 different colors – a brown and a red.

Some pattern paper was used for interest. The sentiment is from my Autumn sentiments paper that is part of my Fall Harvest card kit. When the card was assembled I added some gold splatters. It was finished with some gold gems.
