Inking the Layered Florals embossing folder

Hello Everyone – I have another idea for you using the gorgeous embossing folder with the Inking of the Layered Florals embossing folder idea.

A few weeks ago I shared some easy ideas for using the Layered Florals embossing folder. I showed a card using simple embossing, one where the small flowers were colored with a dauber, and then one where I colored the images with all purpose paint colored with reinker.

Today I am sharing an idea where this time I added ink to the embossing folder. To get this look you take your ink pad and gently swipe it across the inside raised side of the embossing folder. This add ink to the tops of the flowers.

When you add your paper and run the folder through your machine to emboss the card stock it adds ink to the debased/indented side of your card stock. This gives the embossed panel a soft look. Here is what my card looks like using Night of Navy ink.
