Inspiration

Hello Stampers ~ Where do you get your inspiration from?

Well I got all the gold that I had cut for Michaela’s invitations.  I also cut the black.  She wanted a textured card stock so I went to JoAnn’s and bought all the 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 12″ x 12″ they had and I was still short.  I had to go to Michael’s to get a few more sheets to finish up the black.  I am short on the gold and there is a lady about 2 hours away who may have some I can buy.  If she has it I will be driving there today after my workshop.  The things we do for our kids!

Today I am sharing another card I made for the Card A Day Challenge blog.  The challenge today was a photo inspiration.

Saturday Surprises Challenge:
Photo Inspiration

When I saw this I was immediately drawn to the blue and white.  I decided to use those colors and create a stained glass card.  I have a rose template that I knew would be perfect.  I cut it out of Basic Black.  I cut my White 1/2″ smaller than the card front measurements.  I attached the rose template using Tombow Multipurpose liquid glue.  I then used my blender pen and ink in the lid of the pad to color in some of the roses.  I did it very loosely as if you look at the glass used in stained glass it is not perfectly colored.  After I had my coloring completed, I added some rhinestones and enamel dots.  Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Jess and the girls come home today.  I am ready for them to come back but I know I will miss the quiet and calm!  Have a Super Saturday and look for some inspiration you can use to make a card.
