Inspirations in Ink October sketch

Inspirations in Ink October sketch

Hello everyone – today we have the Inspirations in Ink October sketch for you.

Welcome to the monthly Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop. We have a new sketch to play with and I am sure you will find some great cards. Thanks for joining us. I hope you enjoy my project.

This sketch made me stop and think. I could see the 3 rectangles with small images stamped in them. I do not have small images to use so I had to think of another idea. Then I wondered if I could take a panel and stamp an image and then chop it into 3 panels. The only way to find out was to give it a try. I was so excited when it worked. Here is my card for the blog hop.

About my card

White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
              2″ x 3″
              scrap for sentiment
Petal Pink – 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
                     scrap to layer sentiment
Country Lace dsp – 2 1/2″ x 4″

I have chopped panels before as it is a great way to add interest to your card. For this idea I chopped the background panel in a variety of directions. This idea can be fiddly but if you can figure it out it is so much fun!
