Interesting Color Combination

Good Morning, I hope everyone is ready to start a new week!

I played some more last night and created a card for you enjoyment. This was a challenging card due to the colors from the color challenge. I used the color challenge from Our Creative Corner. You were to use Blush Blossom, Handsome Hunter, Sage Shadow, and Soft Suede. I had no problem with the Blush Blossom, Sage Shadow, and Soft Suede. The Handsome Hunter really threw me for a loop. I was able to work it in with some creative thinking.

I combined the colors with the sketch challenge at the Diva Coffee Break Designs blog. I did modify the base of the card a little. In the sketch, you can see there is a layer at the bottom of the card. I did not like the patterned paper I had that matches Soft Suede, so I pulled out my Craft Whisper White ink and inked up the small flower from Eastern Blooms and stamped the lower half. I used my heat gun to set the ink then added some Soft Suede ribbon to give the appearance of another layer. I used markers to ink up the branch image. When I stamped it, you really couldn’t see the Blush Blossom blooms. I decided to use the Sage Shadow marker and go around the outside edge of the flower and you can see the blooms now. Here is the sketch and my creation.
