Good Morning Ladies!
Wow I can’t believe it is Wednesday already! Where has the week gone? Does it seem to go faster when we have a holiday for you too?
Over at Late Night Stampers we have a challenge to create a card, scrapbook page, or project based on New Beginnings. The new beginnings can be a new job, new home, new baby, new marriage, etc. When I saw this I wondered what I was going to do. When I walked out into my new sunroom I knew I had my idea.
About 3 months ago I began construction on turning my deck into a sunroom. Now that it is finished I love it. So I decided to base my card on my new sunroom.
I began with the sketch challenge at Stamping 411

Next I knew I wanted to capture my walls as I did a faux finish on them that I love. Here is a pic of the walls.
There is a lot of texture on the walls and I wanted to achieve that in the background of my main panel. I began with So Saffron cardstock and then sponged on More Mustard and Whisper White.
Next I had to choose my other colors. I turned to my curtains as I love the colors in them.
So now that you have seen my room and inspiration, here is what I created.

So did you see my background? Didn’t I do a good job of recreating my walls? I think this card captures my room very well.
Thanks for looking and have Wonderful Wednesday!
Robbie
