Hello Ladies!
Well yesterday was the first day I felt half normal. I took all my Christmas decorations down. I have not put them away yet as I have some things I have to wash and then pack up in the bins. I also vacuumed my house. It really needed it since I have been too sick to do anything with it. I also spent some time in my craft room working on some cards for my workshop next week. We had warm weather here yesterday so I opened up the house and aired it out. I am hoping it has killed all the germs inside so we do not end up with another round of this stuff. I hope none of you end up with it.
Today is the challenge at Late Night Stampers. This month our challenge is Snowmen/Snowflakes. Since I had done several cards lately using snowmen I decided to do one using snowflakes. I decided to use a stamp set that will be released in the Occasions Mini which starts January 6th. I love this set and can see lots of uses for it.
Mary Jo at Technostamper has given us a great sketch this week.
When I saw this I thought about using the Northern Flurry embossing folder. In order to get it on the background like I wanted I had to so some creative embossing by turning the folder sideways on the top of the card. I then cut my strips and stamped them and distressed the edges. After that I just had to put my card together. I did forget the 3 circle elements on the side. My intent was to use some snowflakes from the frosted sequins but forgot them. Here is my version of the 2 challenges.

This was a fairly easy card to make and came together quickly. This layout is an easy one to use for patterned paper or even washi tape. What could you do with it?
Head on over to the Late Night Stampers blog to see what the other design team members created. We would love to have you join us this month and share your creations with us.
If you would like to see what the other ladies created using this sketch stop by Mary Jo’s blog – Technostamper to see their creations. What could you do with this sketch? It would great if you would share it with us.
Thanks for visiting me today. I am hoping to get caught up this week now that I am starting to get some energy back. Have a Marvelous Monday!

Very pretty card desig, even without the sequins! Glad that you are beginning to return to good health….and hope that you all stay very healthy!
Cute card, but it has me screaming please no! I am so sick of snow already this year. I made a sweatshirt with my new embroidery machine that says let it snow somewhere else! Great job combining the two challenges as always. Thanks so much for being on the TSSC team!
