Let’s get organized!

Hello Everyone – if you search for your tools all the time then Let’s Get Organized!

Have you ever been in the middle of a projects and need your scissors and can’t find them? Or how about searching for your dimensionals? If you can relate to this then keep reading for some tips.

I don’t know about you but I am always looking for ways to organize my space for efficient stamping. Let me share some ideas with you that I use and some alternatives you may find helpful.

The first area to look at is organizing your most used tools. When you sit down to craft you need to have your most used tools close at hand. I have several crocks I use to hold my scissors, bone folder, glue, etc.

You want to have something that is sturdy and won’t fall over when you add your supplies to it. On a recent visit to Home Goods I ran across some other containers that could be used for storing your most used supplies.

This one swivels making it easy to get to your most often used items. It is taller so if your items are short it may not work. I also have an older Pampered Chef tool caddy that is fabulous. It also swivels. The picture below is a newer model and a lot more expensive but you will get the idea and may find something in your many travels.

If you are looking for a portable one as your craft area is your dining room table, here is an idea.  This one has a handle making it easy to grab and take to your work space or put away when you are finished designing.  Again it is taller so keep that in mind when on your search as it won’t be helpful if your tools get lost in it.

Don’t overlook a regular tool caddy like the one below either!

I hope I have given you some ideas to help organize your most used items.  You will need to keep in mind the height of your items so you don’t purchase something that is too tall or too short.  I would suggest you take a few of your items with you when you go out shopping so you can test them in your holder.

Some good places to look for these kinds of items is Home Good, Hobby Lobby, and even Dollar Tree.  You can also find some ideas on Amazon.  Don’t over look heavy candle holders for scissors and glue.  You can usually find the right size.

I hope my suggestions today have helped you in your organization journey.  I am on the hunt to help you create an efficient space so you can be creative
