Good Morning Everyone ~ are you ready to see another stamp set with designer series paper with my Love What You Do Meets Garden Impressions DSP?
Well sometime today Hurricane Florence is supposed to hit land. The last I heard it was going to come onshore around Wilmington. That is about 30 miles south of me so New Bern should get pretty beaten up. They are talking about storm surges of 9 – 12 feet. Downtown New Bern is supposed to be under water as it right at sea level. I am not certain when I will be able to get back. I am hoping I can get back early next week. Time will tell when they see the results of the hurricane. Hopefully we can find an alternate route to get back there.
I played with a stamp set and a designer series paper for my creation today. My next stamp set on my catalog journey was Love What You Do. I looked at the stamp set and there was a stamp that looked very similar to one of the patterns in the Garden Impressions DSP. I decided to use it with the dsp for my card today. I thought the Navy background with the yellow flowers matched the sprig of flowers in the stamp set. I stamped the image several times using Soft Sea Foam ink. I then used a So Saffron marker to color the flowers and the leaves with the Soft Sea Foam marker. I then cut the panel down and mounted it onto a piece of So Saffron card stock. I cut a piece of the navy dsp to go across the card front. I also cut a piece of Night of Navy card stock and used the Subtle embossing folder to emboss it. The Night of Navy card stock was added to the upper right hand corner of the Whisper White card base. The strip of dsp was added across the center of the card base. The colored panel was added using dimensionals. To finish the card, some rhinestones were added to the card. Here is the completed Love What You Do Meets Garden Impressions DSP creation.

I like this layout. I have something I’m trying to put together that might just work out with this. Thanks…
Hope don’t have too much damage or problems getting back to your new home. Heck of a howdy do!
Thanks Betty Ann! Hope your idea worked out with the layout.
