Good Morning Everyone ~ I think snow makes for a Lovely Season!
Well I had 2 workshops yesterday and I got some more of my special project completed as well as made my card for today. I have a busy day today. I have an appointment this morning, a coaching call when I get home, and a workshop this afternoon. I will then work on my planner since I did not get a chance to work on it yesterday as well as make a few cards. Busy day!
Our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop chose a fun challenge this week.
I again pulled out some of my watercolored paper for this card. I had a strip of watercolor paper I had used to soak up some of the extra ink on my non stick mat. I used Dapper Denim, Marina Mist, and Soft Sky inks. The result was the strip down the left hand side of the card. I took a piece of Dapper Denim and using the Holly Jolly Greetings set I stamped the snowflake and mini snowflakes using Whisper White craft ink. Since this is a craft ink, I used my heat tool to set the ink. I then layered my watercolored paper and Silver glimmer paper down the left hand side. I added it to my card base. I used a retired stamp set – Lovely, Amazing You – to stamp part of my sentiment. The Holly Jolly stamp set was used to add the other part of my sentiment. Opposite corners were rounded and then it was added to my card base using dimensionals. The Snow Flurry punch was used to punch a silver snowflake which was added to the upper corner of my sentiment. Here is my completed creation.
