Magical Day Bundle Mermaid

Happy Monday Stampers ~ I have another Magical Day Bundle Mermaid card for you today.

I gave Jess a break and kept Remi on Saturday night.  She had reached her wits end and some of it was the fact that she was still not feeling well and she had not been sleeping well.  Zoie had her first sleep over so Jess could get a good night’s sleep.  We had a good time and I spent a lot of time feeding her.  Every time I turned around she said she was hungry.  Jess said she did not eat much last week when she was sick.  Remi even slept in this morning which was good for me as she is not easy to sleep with!

I had another background I had created using the ink on the acrylic block technique I described here.  I ran across a water challenge at Just Add Ink  that my panel would be perfect for.

For my background on this card I had used Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder.  I used the same technique of spritzing the reinker drops with water and pressing the paper onto the block.  When this one was dry it looked like water to me so I decided to pair it with the Magical Day Bundle Mermaid for my card.  I used a piece of Pool Party shimmer ribbon down the right hand side and a bow was added.  It needed some seaweed so I used some white cut outs from Everyday Jars thinlits and added them in the lower left hand corner.  The mermaid was stamped and colored with alcohol markers then the framelit was used to cut it out.  She was added with dimensionals.  To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder.  Part of the sentiment was cut off the Pool Party stamped one and added to the Wisteria Wonder one with dimensionals.  The new sentiment was added to the card base using dimensionals.  Here is my completed Magical Day Bundle Mermaid card.
