Good Morning Everyone ~ I created a Magical Day Castle card for you today.
Well I attacked another pile in my great room. I now can see all of the floor. I still have a few piles in the back that I will deal with. Then I can start to get my stamp sets ready to sell. I have so many that are retired that I don’t want to continue to store. Hopefully I will be able to give lots of stamps a new home! If there is an older set you are looking for, let me know as I probably have it.
My card today began with the sketch challenge at TGIF Challenges
I thought it would be fun to play with the Magical Day bundle. I have had it for a few weeks but have not had a chance to play with it. I knew it was time to have some fun with it. I have seen so many cards where they created a castle look for their card base. I opted to see what I could create. I began with a piece of Basic Gray card stock and embossed the front with the Brick Wall embossing folder. After I had the embossing completed, I used a sponge dauber and Memento Tuxedo Black ink to sponge on some smudges. When I was done it was too flat looking so I pulled out my Whisper White craft and sponged some white on top of the black. That looked more realistic. Next I stamped and colored my dragon and the flame. The framelits were used to cut both out. They were added to card front using dimensionals. I wanted a sentiment so I went looking to see what I had. The Jar of Love stamp set had one that was a good one for the card so I used it and added some flames to each end of the sentiment. This bundle is hot right now and if you would like to get your copy, let me know. I would be glad to order it for you and have it shipped to your house. Here is my Magical Day Castle creation.
