Many Mates and Strips of DSP

Hello Everyone ~ the Many Mates and Strips of DSP card was fun to play with.

Yesterday I got a lot of crafting in.  I made my 3 cards for my Facebook Live this week, my other card made for my newsletter tutorial made, and the paper cut for 2 of my Facebook Lives.  I also wrote up one of the tutorials for the newsletter.  If you want to get my tutorials they are exclusive to my newsletter.  You will need to sign up for it using the form on the right.  Don’t miss any more of my tutorials!

Today I am going to finish up my In Color bookmarks, another project I am working on, and go to the post office so I can mail out Jess’s masks.  I also need to read my book so I am ready for the book club next Monday evening.  I also need to work on my posts for my Facebook page.  A busy day ahead!

A few weeks ago I did a Facebook Live where I shared some ways to use strips of designer series paper.  I thought I would use that idea for today’s card and use a different layout for the strips of paper.  Check out how I used the designer series paper on this card.

Features of the Card

  • Many Mates
  • Rococo Rose card base – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ and a scrap for sentiment to punch
  • Whisper White panel ~ 4″ x 5 1/4″ and scrap for die cutting
  • Ornate Garden designer series paper ~ sizes range from 1/2″ to 3/4″ by 3 1/2″ to 3 7/8″
  • Stitched Shapes dies
  • Bumblebee 1/4″ ribbon
  • rhinestones

Using scraps of designer series paper can create a great background. This Many Mates and Strips of DSP card is a great way to use those offcut strips for a fun card.

The Ornate Garden designer series paper has these cute images in some of the patterns. See which patterns I used for my Many Mates and Strips of DSP card.
