Hello Stampers ~ I thought I would share some March Paper Pumpkin Alternative Ideas with you today.
Yesterday’s Facebook Live was a mess. First I had the wrong time posted on here. It was at 1 not 2. Then halfway through the broadcast, my internet went out. I got it back on for a few seconds then it went out again. Got it back and it went out again and I could not get it back on. I ended up calling the internet company and we had to do a hard reset of the modem. I was so upset. I thought I had lost the 3 videos but they were on Facebook. I managed to download them and put them into my editing program. I plan on splicing them together so at least there is only 1 video. Hopefully I will be able to do that today. I will post it to my Facebook page as well as my You Tube channel.

I played with the March Paper Pumpkin and came up with a few alternative ideas. This was not one of my favorite kits as the cards are vintage in theme. I am not a vintage person so I had to come up with some other ideas. For my first idea I took the background and opted not to add the corner elements. I used the same banner shape but used a different sentiment. I liked the way they added the ribbon so I used the same idea and added my ribbon. The banner was added to the ribbons with dimensionals. I used 2 pink flowers rather than a pink and yellow. I also used the Fresh Fig marker to outline the flowers so they showed up better. I used the same leaves and added them to the flower images. The top flower was added using glue dots and the bottom flower was added with dimensionals. To me the card was missing something, so I used the twine in the kit and made a multi loop bow. It was added with a glue dot. To finish off the card I added some of the pink pearls. Here is the first March Paper Pumpkin Alternative Ideas.

For the second card I used one of the backgrounds and added a strip of the pink sticker ribbon. Using the sentiment punch out, I stamped my sentiment using Fresh Fig. I followed the directions from the kit to add the ribbon and attach it to the panel. The panel was then added to the card base. The original card had some leaves/buds behind the sentiment layer. I opted to not use the leaves/buds but instead stamp a flower on Very Vanilla using Fresh Fig. I cut it out and used the punch out leaves behind it. This flower was added using dimensionals. Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you. I am going today to make a visit to a pet sitter.
