Hello Stampers ~ another one of my swaps was a Masculine Colorful Seasons idea.
Today is the last day of OnStage. I hate for it to end as this is the first time I have seen some of these ladies in a few years. While Amanda and I talk almost daily, she lives in Chicago and I am in North Carolina. We try to support each other in our businesses so we have a special bond. I miss not seeing her each year as we can’t always go to OnStage. I am sure we will spend a lot of time talking late into the night.
Another general swap I made uses an idea I used on this card. I loved the circular element and decided to use it for a swap. I began by embossing a piece of Very Vanilla with the Woodland embossing folder. I added a strip of the Wood Textures dsp to the left hand side. Using a piece of the Blackberry Bliss card stock I punched out a 1 1/2″ circle. I then used the 2″ punch and centered it over the 1 1/2″ hole created a circular frame. A strip of Nature’s Poem dsp was added to the bottom and before I adhered the left end down, I slipped the end inside the circle and overlapped the left side of the circle and stuck the strip down. A piece of the mini silver sequin trim was looped and stuck down with some glue dots. A piece of the Nature’s Twine was tied in a bow and added over the sequin trim with glue dots. Then using Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie ink I sponged it onto a piece of Very Vanilla. The large leaf stamp from Colorful Seasons was stamped onto it using Early Espresso. The Seasonal Layers thinlits were used to cut it out as well as one of the smaller leaves. These were added to the card base using glue dots. Here is my completed Masculine Colorful Seasons.
