Masculine Swirly Bird

Hello Stampers ~ Today’s card turned out to be a great Masculine Swirly Bird creation.

I am enjoying my time with the girls.  Remi always has me laughing and Zoie is full of questions.  They love to go to the playground so I am certain if it isn’t raining we will be spending lots of time there.  They are very active and I am usually tired at the end of the day trying to keep up with them.

The next stamp set on my Catalog Journey was the Swirly Bird.  I wasn’t certain what I was going to do with this stamp set so I started looking at the images.  I saw the bird, the nest, and the eggs.  I decided to see if I can use the Woodland embossing folder.  I had an idea I just needed to see if it would work.  I began by  embossing a piece of Very Vanilla card stock using the Woodland embossing folder.  To highlight the embossed trees I used the Soft Suede ink pad and dragged it lightly across the embossed panel.  I added this panel to a Balmy Blue card base using Tear & Tape.  I stamped several birds using Pacific Point and fussy cut them out.  I stamped one nest using Early Espresso.  I also stamped a set of eggs using a second generation stamping using Balmy Blue.  I cut out all the images.  Now it is time to put my scene together.  I added the nest first and then the eggs.  One bird was perched on the edge of the nest.  The other 2 birds were added to the background using the branches for them to sit on.  To finish my card I added some sequins cause you know I gotta have some bling!  Here is the completed Masculine Swirly Bird creation.
