Masterfully Made Petal Park
Happy Friday Stampers – I used some of that challenging dsp with a unique layout for today’s Masterfully Made Petal Park card.
Well I am headed to get my little girl today! I am so excited and can’t wait to snuggle her and love on her. I have so much to relearn as it has been 14 years since I had a puppy that I have had potty train. If you have any tips or hints please let me know. Here is the latest pics I got earlier this week she is 11 weeks old and weighs 2.9 pounds.
Alright now on to the card for today. I have mentioned before that I am not a fan of the Masterfully Made dsp. I ran across a layout that I knew would be a good one to use for this paper. All I needed was to find a stamp set and Petal Park was the perfect one to use.
If you like unique mixed media pattern paper the check out the Masterfully Made collection. The hand-painted and hand-torn designs set the scene for gorgeous florals that add just the right details. Do you think you would like this in your collection?
Check out my video showing how to create that fun background idea.
When you have a dsp that you aren’t fond of, you have to find creative ways to use it. In this case I used a panel for my card and cut off the corners. That cuts down on the amount of the paper that shows. Add a large image panel on top and that hides even more of it. Check out how much of the panel of dsp you actually see on my card.
The image uses the colors in the dsp that ties it all together. Using the colors from the dsp makes it easy to select the colors for your project.
Did you see my series using this dsp to make quilt cards? Here are 2 of the cards I made using it. And check out this card that uses 3 sheets of the paper.
I hope you liked the layout for the way to use dsp that can be challenging for you. What paper do you have that you are not fond of and not using?
Thanks for visiting and checking out my Masterfully Made Petal Park creation!
Have a Fabulous Friday!
