Medallions for Remi

Good Morning Everyone!

Well I remembered last night to write my post and schedule it to publish.  I worked on it after we came back from taking the dog for a walk so it would be ready to go on time.

I took some time yesterday to do a little playing with my watercolor pencils and Copic markers.  I still have some more images to do but I think I will knit tomorrow and work on my other images next week.  There is a learning curve with the both of these coloring tools so I am using the time to learn and play.

One of the decorating items Jess wanted was some medallions to hang for decoration.  Here plan is to use them to hang on Remi’s wall in her room.  Thank goodness I had the Simple Scored Tool.  I was able to score the strips and then Jess accordion folded them.  We glued then together with Crystal Effects and then used Crystal Effects on the circles to glue the circle to.  I used the Crystal Effects as that stuff holds everything and it holds it well!  I added stars cut from gold and Blushing Bride glimmer paper.  Here are the medallions.

Here is the birthday girl in her tutu, special t-shirt, and star headband.  She loved the tutu!  She was walking around flipping it.  She was not as thrilled with the headband!

Here is Remi with her favorite aunt TTM.  When Zoie was little she could not say Auntie M and it came out at TTM so it has stuck!  The funny part about it is when Michaela was little she hated the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz movie.  She left the room each time they came on.  Dorothy had and Auntie Em in there so we feel it is ironic that Michaela is Auntie M!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am enjoying the warm weather and sunshine.  We have had the windows open all day in the apartment as it was so nice!  Have a Fabulous Friday!
