Memories and More Colorful Seasons

Hello Everyone ~ I am loving the Memories and More Colorful Seasons cards for quick and easy cards!

Well today is the big day!  The Solar Eclipse is this afternoon.  I am writing this on Sunday and scheduling it for Midnight Monday Morning.  The current forecast says it will rain this morning and clear out by noon.  Hopefully that will be true.  Of course weather could change and be totally sunny by tomorrow.  Only time will tell.  We will be on the beach for the event and can’t wait to see what it looks like.  We have also read to pay attention to the other weather phenomenon as the birds will roost, a wind will pick up, and other things that signify the evening will happen.  I am excited to see if all this really happens.

The Lazy Days of Summer  

 

When I think of the lazy days of summer I think of relaxing in a hammock, in a chair on the beach, or a rocking chair on the front porch.  I pulled out my Memories and More Colorful Seasons card and found one that was a large sun on the card.  I used the Colorful Seasons bundle to stamp the Just Breathe on the top using Dapper Denim ink.  Using the framelits and the Wood Textures framelits, I die cut the adorable Adirondack chair using the piece that look like paint was chipping off.   The chair was added to the sun card using Tombow multipurpose liquid glue.  I added the card to the front of a Whisper White card base.  To finish off my card I added some of the Glitter Enamel dots from the collection.  Here is my completed creation.
