Hello Stampers ~ are you ready for a quick Merry Christmas featuring Stampin’ Up Christmas Pines?
I have been busy the past few days with a group of demos on Facebook who help out fellow demos who loose their Stampin’ Up supplies due to a major catastrophe. We have set the word out for any demo who wants to help out to join our group. We know we have many demos in Texas who will need our help and now with Irma getting ready to hit Florida we know we will have a lot of demos there who may need our help. When the demo is ready to try and get her business going again we all pitch in and order supplies and have them sent to her so she has some things to use. We have heard from a few in Texas but we know there are many more. It will be a while before they will be ready to get their business back up as many are still flooded. I am an admin in the group so we have been busy adding people as quickly as we can. If you are a demo and would like to join our group, please let me know as we can use all the support we can get.
While I was in North Carolina visiting my friend we had several crafting sessions. At one of the sessions I checked out a few of my challenge blogs and made this card using the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.
I had taken a lot of the items with me and stared playing around. I began with a Whisper White card base. I took a piece of the Be Merry dsp and added 2 strips of some silver washi tape that was a Sale-a-bration item a few years ago. This piece was then added to the card base. I cut a Garden Green panel and rounded the corners. A small piece of white was cut and the corners rounded also. On the white I stamped the pine needle spray and did a second generation stamping a little to the left. The 2 panels were attached and then added to the card front using dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped and the ends were flagged. I sponged the edges to help it stand out a little. It was then added to the card panel with dimensionals. To finish off my card I added a multiloop bow made with the linen thread. Here is my completed creation.

LUV this card. The green sprig is beautiful, and I especially like the way you’ve carried the image to the inside and the envelop. Well done. Thank you for sharing your lovely card with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
