Merry Christmas Greeting Card
Hello Everyone – you did see that title correctly as I am sharing a Merry Christmas Greeting Card today.
“Christmas is Coming, The Goose is Getting Fat . . . “
How many of you sang that song as you were reading it? I have been singing it for several days once I decided to do Christmas in July. In fact I have been singing the entire chorus!
If you make your Christmas Cards each year it is time to think about starting to work on them. Knowing that I thought I would do a “Christmas in July” series this week. I love making Christmas Cards but I have not gotten any of the new paper or stamps/bundles yet. That made me look at what I do have and see what I could come up with.
I have the Poinsettia Petals and Poinsettia dies so I thought I would start with them. If you need to do a lot of cards, then you want something quick and easy. This stamp set and dies are perfect as you can use the assembly line style to make your cards.
Since you are mass producing the card you need a layout that is also easy. Using a strip of pattern paper is a great way to add interest and put the card together quickly. I had some of the Heartfelt Wishes paper left from last year. This paper carried over this year so I pulled out a simple dotted pattern.
To finish off your card you need some sparkle and what better way than to use the Metallic Mesh Ribbon. Now you are ready to assemble your card. Here is my Merry Christmas Greeting Card idea.
If you like this paper, check out this video that shows another way I have used it. While you are creating don’t forget those tags you will need. Check out this idea that uses flower punch to make a poinsettia, a quick idea!
