Mint and Pink – Lovely Combination!

Hello Stampers!

Well I got a lot done yesterday even though I did not start until after lunch.  I made my thank you cards for my customers from November.  I will be mailing those out today.   I finished the banner for my pocket letter.  I just need to stuff the pockets and it will be mailed today also.  I also made 3 cards to post this week.  This time of year is hectic so I need to work ahead as much as I can.

Today my card uses the challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches  

This week we got to choose any of the color challenges from this past year and make a Christmas card.

I went looking at the colors and chose to use the color below.

Challenge #140 – September 3, 2015

I love min and pink together so I thought it would make a pretty card.  I had some Mint Macaron that I had spritzed with glimmer spray.  I stamped my trees on it and then used the coordinating punch to punch them out.  I took my piece of Pink Pirouette paper and embossed it with the Softly Falling embossing folder.  I attached my piece of organza ribbon and attached the Pink to my card base.  I stamped my image on a piece of 1/2″ of Whisper White.  I then used my 3/4″ circle punch to round the ends.  I attached it to a piece of Rose Red I had punched out with the large oval punch.  This was added to my card using dimensionals.  I tied a bow using the ribbon and added it to the strip of ribbon at the top.  All that was left to add my trees with dimensionals.  Here is my final creation.
