Hello Everyone – I love playing with free product and today’s card is a Mix-n-Match Stampin’ Up Sale-a-bration idea.

How many of you got the free cards & envelopes from Sale-a-bration? I got several sets and thought it would be fun to use it with some other products. I opted to use the Color & Contour stamp set and coordinating dies to show how versatile these cards are.

Free products are a great way to challenge you to use it with different products. I used the Color & Contour stamp set and coordinating dies for this Mix-n-Match Stampin' Up Sale-a-bration idea.

This stamp set is perfect for these cards and the open image stem mimics the background of the card bases.

I want to use the flower stem in the set as it matched the open image on the card base. I did not want to color the image so I had to come up with another way to add some color. I played around with an idea and came up with this one. I stamped the image using a second generation of Basic Gray. That gave me enough of an outline to be able to see it. I then used my markers to trace the stamped image so I got an open image in bold lines.

You can use your markers to get a bold image once you stamp it. I used that idea for this Mix-n-Match Stampin' Up Sale-a-bration idea. Get the details and try it yourself.

The envelope is already decorated using an image from the card base. I used the same idea of a bold outline for the inside of the card.

I love the way this stamp set goes so well with these cards. Using the Color & Contour stamp set and coordinating dies for this Mix-n-Match Stampin' Up Sale-a-bration idea makes it easy to create a beautiful card.
