Monday Lunchtime Flowers

Hello Stampers!

Well this will be a busy week for me.  I have my workshop on Tuesday so I will spend today getting that ready.  On Wednesday Jess and I are taking Remi up to see a special dentist as she may have to have surgery to correct a couple of lip and tongue issues.  I am sure that will be a stressful day for both of us.  Then the rest of the week will be busy getting cards made and starting to work on my swaps for Convention.

My card today is for the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge by Mary Jo.  This week Mary Jo decided to give us a challenge this week.

When I saw this I had in my mind to do a grid background.  I vaguely remember seeing a grid background in one of my ds papers.  I went looking and found one in the Moonlight ds paper stack.  The paper basically determine my colors.  It was gray so I went with the Basic Gray strips that I embossed using the Woodgrain embossing folder.  The only thing left was to make my flowers.  I pulled out my punches and started punching.  Here is my final creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  It is supposed to be cooler the next few days so I am going to spend some time working on my flower beds.  Have a Marvelous Monday!
