Hello Stampers ~ Are you ready for a Monday Snowman today?
Well I did a little bit of work in my craft room yesterday. I would have liked to have spent more time in there but it did not work out that way. I did get my package from Amazon so I managed to play with it a little bit. I need to see if I can finish it up today and I need to get to Target for a few things. Sometime today I need to cut for my workshop this week as I have back to back classes tomorrow. Another busy day!
Over at Make My Monday challenge blog we have a winter themed challenge.
Challenge # 36
Show Me A Snowman
I looked in all my current stamps and I do not have a stamp set that has a snowman in it. I was unsure what I was going to do. I remembered I got a free digi print a few weeks ago and as luck would have it, it was a snowman. Mindy at My Creative Scoop offered this cute digital download. I decided to use it for my card. I have never used a digital download so I had to play with it to get the sizing correct for my card. After I got the size correct, I used my watercolor pencils to color him in. I used my blender pen to blend the color. After I had him colored in, I used Dazzling Details to add the line of snow under him. Once the Dazzling Details were dry, I mounted him onto a piece of Elegant Eggplant card stock. The card base is Bermuda Bay and I attached the Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series paper using Tear & Tape. The image was added to the card front using dimensionals. To add some sparkle I used the Wink of Stella clear pen for the snow and white of his hat. Here is my adorable digi image.
