Monochromatic card in blue
Hello everyone – look at this Monochromatic card in blue which uses a pretty blue for a simple idea.
I had a request for some sympathy cards so I decided to see what I could come up with. I was going to use a leaf stamp but saw my Spotlight on Nature card and opted to use that one instead. I stamped the butterfly as the background on a panel using a third generation stamping. Using the coordinating dies I cut out a circle then used a circle punch to punch one that would fit inside the die cut. The flower spray was stamped and colored using Altenew alcohol markers. The sentiment was tucked in between the flower heads. Here is a monochromatic card idea.
About my card
Navy – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
scrap for die cutting
White – 4″ x 5 1/4″
scrap for punching
I have played with this set quite a bit. I used the butterfly for the cracked glass technique on this card. This card uses the same butterfly to create a seal that was used on this card.
