My First Design Card

Good Monday Morning Everyone!

Well I have my first official Design Team card for the Late Night Stampers yahoo group. The first challenge was a sketch challenge. We were sent a sketch and I immediately started thinking about the layout. I went looking at my catalog for a stamp set and ran across Great Friend. In checking out my challenge blogs I saw this great color challenge at Colour Q. The colors were Bermuda Bay, Certainly Celery, Lavender Lace, Lovely Lilac, and white. There is an adorable pair of baby booties on the website so click on the link to check it out.

I thought the shaped image would be perfect for the tag shape and I wanted to use the sentiment from the set inside the shape. I then used the ribbon shape and cut it out of paper to stamped the leaf shape on. I used sponge daubers to ink the edges with Certainly Celery and Lovely Lilac. Then I just had to layer my colors and add the swirl from Baroque Motifs to the top layer. Here is the sketch and my creation.
