My first winter card!

Second post, scroll down for the first!

Well I finally got the picture of the inside of this card. I just couldn’t post it until you could see the inside! 🙂

This card uses the color challenge at the Color Throwdown blog. When I saw these colors I knew they would make a nice winter card. I then went looking for a sketch and found one that was perfect at Cards & Things. Once I had my colors and sketch I pulled out my catalog and looked in the holiday section to see what sets I had that would work. I saw Snow Swirled and the large snowflake in the set would work. I then created my card. When I had finished it I also realized it fit the 10 minutes or less challenge at Sandi MacIver’s blog. Each week she and Carol Anne at Stampin Stress Away blog challenge you to create a card in 10 minutes or less. Since I had my colors and sketch already chosen this card was easy to complete in 10 minutes. Since it is a quick card that has that wow factor, I will mass producing this one for the Operation Write Home organization as well as my son-in-law’s troop. Here is the sketch and my creation.
