Need your opinion

I am busy this morning working on my Easy Peasy card that I will post when I get it finished so check back later today to see it.

I played with my shimmer paint last night. I had a demo friend I met on the yahoo group Late Night Stampers. She told me about mixing it with alcohol and spritzing your cards to give them some sparkle (you know I like my sparkle). So I picked up alcohol and a travel spray bottle and played this afternoon. There is a funny story about this at the end of the post.

My card this morning is a little different. I’m not sure I like it. You’ll have to leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

I used the color challenge from Picture Perfect Creations.

I combined it with the sketch challenge from Eat Sleep Stamp. I struggled with this one and I’m not sure why. Don’t know if it was the colors, the stamp set, or what. It is pretty straight forward stamping so I will save the chit chat. Here is the sketch and my creation.

So on to the funny story. I mixed up my shimmer paint and alcohol. When I had my card finished I spritzed my it. I couldn’t see the shimmer so I spritzed it again. Still couldn’t see it so I really, really, really spritzed it. Well I got an e-mail from my friend after I had finished my card and she said she discovered you can’t really see the glimmer under florescent lighting. So I laughed while reading her e-mail as what happened to her was the exact same thing that happened to me. I am really curious to see what my card looks like in daylight.

Well if you made it this far thanks for sticking with me and checking out my card. Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
