I had a lady comment on one of my cards on Splitcoast. She mentioned her sketch challenge blog, priscillastyles, and how she would love to have me participate. I decided to check out the blog and when I did I liked the sketch for this week so I used it for this card.
Her sketches are called Midnight Madness. When I saw the sketch I thought it would fun to use the Eastern Blooms stamp set and add some flowers and butterflies at the bottom. I think I went a little crazy with the butterflies 🙂 though. Maybe it was because I am seeing more butterflies this year since I have some Butterfly Bushes in my landscaping.
I chose my colors from the Color Throwdown blog. They had chosen Bordering Blue, Pink Pirouette, and Rose Red. These are some pretty colors together.
I wanted my punched butterflies to have a little texture to them so I used the Priceless swirl to stamp some swirls on the butterflies. I also used some Shimmerz to add bling to all my butterflies. Let me know what you think of all my butterflies. Here is the sketch and my creation.

Okay Rob, this seems to be a little out of your mojo, but you went with it. I like the layout, and the butterflies, but there's a little too much on the card for me. I loved the inside. Just doing my usual commenting. Sandy
