Night in Bethlehem Season of Joy

Hello Stampers ~ How about a Christmas card with my Night in Bethlehem Season of Joy creation!

I was a busy bee yesterday.  I got my house vacuumed early in the morning and then worked on some more Catalog Journey cards.  I got cards for one set completed and a couple for another set.  I had to run an errand and that took some time.  I need to get outside and weed my flower beds soon also.  With all the rain we have had it won’t be hard to pull the weeds.  I also picked up some boxes and paper from the movers so I am going to start packing up my kitchen.  I will leave a few things until the last day but most of it can be packed up and set aside for the movers.  I am also going to tackle the closets upstairs.  Most of that is stuff that is packed already so I just need to pull it out and sort through some of the things I am getting rid of.

Today’s card is a Christmas card.  I know you are not ready to see or talk about Christmas but it will be here before you know it.  Yesterday I used a set from the section and made a general card.  Today I had a set that I could only think of a Christmas idea.  I stamped the strip of houses in Night of Navy onto a piece of Whisper White.  I then used the thinlits to cut out the strip of houses from Crumb Cake.  I glued the framelit houses near the bottom so that the tops overlapped the bottom of the Night of Navy stamped houses.  I used the framelits and some silver glimmer paper to cut out the star and attached it to the upper left hand corner of the card.  I wanted a sentiment so I used one of the ones in the set and inked up just a phrase from the sentiment with Night of Navy and stamped it in the upper right hand corner.  This panel was added to my Night of Navy card base.  Here is my first Christmas card of the season with Night of Bethlehem Season of Joy.

I like this one. I have lots of the city and people cut ready to start in on Christmas cards.
